Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of tailroad.co and purchases from TAILROAD. By using the store or placing an order, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Store and customer service
TAILROAD sells physical dog travel and vehicle-use products through tailroad.co. Customer-service questions can be sent to support@tailroad.co.
Product information
We aim to present products accurately. Product appearance can vary slightly because of photography, screen settings, manufacturing changes, or packaging updates. Measurements, compatibility information, care instructions, and other specifications should be read on the applicable product page before ordering. Unless a product page expressly states a verified testing standard or certification, no such certification should be inferred.
Fit and vehicle compatibility
Customers are responsible for checking relevant vehicle, seat, cargo-area, attachment-point, and product measurements before purchase when fit matters. Guidance we provide is intended to assist with selection and does not replace vehicle-manufacturer instructions or create a safety certification.
Orders and acceptance
An order confirmation acknowledges that we received your order; it does not prevent us from cancelling or refunding an order before fulfillment when there is a genuine pricing or listing error, payment authorization problem, suspected fraud, stock or fulfillment failure, shipping restriction, or another reasonable operational or legal reason. If we cancel a paid order, we will issue the appropriate refund to the original payment method.
Prices and payment
Prices and available payment methods are shown at checkout. Taxes, duties, shipping, discounts, and other charges are displayed or calculated according to the checkout configuration and destination where applicable. Payments may be processed by Shopify and third-party payment providers, including PayPal when offered. Payment-provider programs, dispute outcomes, and buyer or seller protection eligibility are governed by the provider's own terms and are not guaranteed by TAILROAD.
Shipping, returns, and refunds
Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy. Returns, cancellations, and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Those policies form part of these terms.
Customer responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate order, contact, and delivery information; use the store only for lawful purposes; not attempt to interfere with store security or operation; and not use false, stolen, or unauthorized payment information.
Intellectual property
TAILROAD branding, original store text, graphics, design elements, and other content owned by or licensed to us may not be copied, reproduced, or commercially exploited without permission, except where applicable law permits.
Third-party services
The store relies on third-party services such as Shopify, payment providers, carriers, and fulfillment partners. Their separate terms and privacy policies can apply when you use their services. We are not responsible for a third party's independent acts or omissions to the extent permitted by law, but this does not remove any responsibility that applicable consumer law places on us as the seller.
Disclaimer and limitation
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the store and its content are provided without warranties beyond those expressly stated by us or imposed by law, and TAILROAD is not liable for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable from a breach. Any limitation in these terms applies only to the extent permitted by the law applicable to the customer and transaction.
Changes
We may update these terms as our store, services, or legal obligations change. The terms in effect when an order is placed will continue to govern that order unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Mandatory consumer rights
These terms do not exclude, restrict, or replace any non-waivable consumer rights, statutory warranties, remedies, cooling-off rights, or other protections that apply in your jurisdiction.
