Measure twice. Order once.
Dog-travel products can fit differently from one vehicle to another. Before ordering a seat extender, hammock, cargo liner, barrier or other vehicle-fit item, compare your car's usable space with the exact measurements on the product page.
1. Measure the usable rear-seat width
Measure across the area the product will actually occupy, not only the widest point of the cabin. Note any door contours, center consoles or trim that reduce usable width.
2. Measure seat depth and the footwell gap
For back-seat extenders and covers, measure from the rear seatback toward the front-seat backs and note the size of the gap or footwell area.
3. Check headrests and attachment points
Look at the headrest layout, seat-belt access and any anchors the product may need. Exact attachment requirements are listed on each active product page.
4. Check door and cargo clearance
For door protectors, barriers, ramps and cargo liners, make sure the product will not interfere with doors, latches, seat movement or normal vehicle controls.
5. Compare with the product page
Use the measurements and compatibility notes shown on the specific product page. If something is unclear, contact us before ordering and include your vehicle make, model and year.
Important: TAILROAD travel accessories are not represented as certified crash-restraint systems unless a specific product page explicitly states otherwise.
