Identify the working area.
Decide where the product will actually sit: rear bench, footwell gap, door panel, cargo floor or access point. Measure that physical area, not the exterior width of the vehicle.

Measure the car.
Then choose the gear.
A few minutes with a tape measure is more useful than guessing from a vehicle badge. Model year, trim and seat layout can change usable space.
Record width and depth.
For seat and cargo products, measure usable width and depth at the narrowest points. Watch for consoles, wheel arches, seatbelt hardware and raised edges.
Check the attachment path.
Look at headrests, seatbacks, door geometry and anchor points used by the product. A dimension can fit while a mounting path does not.
Compare with the product page.
Use the dimensions shown on the product page. If a measurement you need is not listed, contact TAILROAD before ordering rather than guessing.
